Seminars aim to bring together smaller groups of like-minded individuals and organisations, and the format is very much one of discussion and idea-sharing. The seminars are one-day events, occasionally relating to a programme of workshops. Generally, the topics discussed are aimed at industry professionals, managers and trainers. However, this does not exclude students or members of the general public, who are also welcomed, particularly if an active interest in conservation, biodiversity or the environment is pursued. On a few occasions, field trips may be included but these are not normally integral to a seminar's programme.
